LVM offers two content sets:
Parent Advice Messages (authored by Barton Schmitt, MD)
This set of advice topics was initially developed to address the most common inquiries received by pediatric practices. Approximately 85 topics cover acute childhood illnesses and care management instructions for parents. The remaining 190 address common behavioral health and developmental issues, from newborns to adolescents. The behavioral health topics are especially helpful to parents – assisting them to identify “normal” from problematic behaviors that may need professional attention.

Family Doctor by American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)
The 650 Family Doctor health topics address consumer and patient inquiries regarding diseases, conditions, prevention measures and treatments. They are developed and reviewed by physicians and patient education professionals associated with the American Academy of Family Physicians ( AAFP). They developed this content set as a robust collection of patient education topics for use by their member physicians.
Family Doctor has won quality awards annually since 2000 and been described as, “excellent, the best resource for your patients seeking further information about their conditions and for general advice about staying healthy.” (MD Net Guide’s 2004 Nettie Award for Excellence)
