LVM works with its customers as needed to import “batches” of data from other software systems or databases into Centaurus. These data transfers are not real time, but can be performed at pre-determined frequencies or on an ad hoc basis. Common examples:

• Import of patient accounting records to perform revenue reconciliation
• Import of physician data to populate physician profile database
• Import lists of patient records for outbound contact, such as follow-up satisfaction calls to discharged patients

Export routines are also available to transfer data from Centaurus to external systems or databases. Data can be exported in file formats such as SDF, delimited, Excel, dbf and other standards.
